Welcome to Klippay. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Klippay mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using Klippay, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Klippay services are intended for Nigerian users regardless of their country of residence. It operates as a technology marketplace and escrow facilitation platform that enables users to exchange currencies peer-to-peer.
Users are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations applicable in their country of residence.
Klippay:
• Is not a bank
• Does not provide financial advisory services
• Does not guarantee profits or exchange rates
• Acts as a neutral facilitator between users
To use Klippay, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate information
• Complete identity verification (KYC)
• Not use the Platform for illegal purposes
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Users must:
• Provide accurate personal information
• Submit required identity documents
• Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Klippay provides users with a digital wallet to:
• Hold supported currencies
• Fund transactions
• Participate in escrow exchanges
Funds stored in your wallet are held for the purpose of facilitating marketplace transactions. Klippay does not guarantee interest, investment returns, or asset growth.
When users agree to exchange currencies:
1. One party funds their wallet.
2. Funds are placed in escrow.
3. The counterparty transfers the agreed currency.
4. Upon confirmation from both parties, funds are released.
If confirmation is not provided, Klippay may review the case under its dispute process. Klippay reserves the right to freeze, delay, or cancel transactions where fraud or suspicious activity is suspected.
If a disagreement arises:
• Users may initiate a dispute within the app.
• Klippay will review submitted evidence.
• Klippay’s decision will be final within the Platform.
Users agree to cooperate and provide truthful information during dispute review.
Klippay charges a service fee for:
• Escrow facilitation
• Marketplace services
• Wallet-related transactions
Fees are disclosed before transaction confirmation. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
Users may not:
• Engage in fraud, scams, or misrepresentation
• Use the Platform for money laundering
• Use stolen payment methods
• Circumvent escrow procedures
• Harass other users
Violation may result in permanent suspension and reporting to authorities.
Klippay provides a technology platform connecting users. We are not responsible for:
• Exchange rate fluctuations
• Delays caused by third-party payment providers
• Losses resulting from user misconduct
• User-to-user agreements outside the Platform
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klippay’s liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the disputed transaction.
Klippay may suspend or terminate accounts where:
• Fraud is suspected
• False information is provided
• These Terms are violated
• Required by law or regulatory authorities
Users agree to comply with:
• Applicable anti-money laundering laws
• Local currency regulations
• Government reporting requirements
Klippay may request additional documentation to comply with legal obligations.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Klippay may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [Insert Country].
